Finger Independence

Updated: Oct 30

Here's an exercise designed to work on fingerpicking as well as finger independence.

What we're going to do is assign our thumb to the D string, index finger to the G string, and then the middle finger is going to alternate between the high E and the B. The pattern sounds like this. That right-hand pattern is never going to change, but the left-hand chord structures will. Give it a try and have fun.
