What is it?

Eight shapes. Seven keys. A dynamic way to hear the fretboard.

🎸 What's Inside?

• Eight moveable shapes applied across seven keys: E, G, D, A, B, C, and F

• 12 chords per key organized by shape for easy navigation

• Three major shapes, three minor shapes, and two intentionally ambiguous — each one shifting character depending on the key
• Bonus voicings that push the shapes beyond diatonic keys

• Eight companion video lessons so you can see and hear every chord in every key and how they connect. (Link and password are in the book and will arrive in a separate email)

💡 Why It Exists.

As a guitarist, I've always been fascinated by what happens when you let open strings ring against moving chord shapes. The open string stays the same — but its role shifts depending on what surrounds it. Root, fifth, something more colorful. That texture shows up everywhere once you start hearing it, and I wanted to put together a framework that makes it accessible and explorable. This book is the result of that — eight shapes that unlock a world of color across the entire fretboard.

    Super helpful book!

Not just a book of chords, Common Tone Chords actually pairs the chords into keys with chord diagrams & explanations beneath the diagrams so you better understand what you're playing. If that wasn't enough, there are videos to further explain, provide famous examples, and show alternative fingering. This book is great and will expand your guitar knowledge & ability.
